Refund & Cancellation Policy

BookFellaz provides customized digital and professional services. Because work is created or performed specifically for each Client, refund eligibility depends on when cancellation is requested, the work already completed, committed resources, third-party costs, and any project-specific written terms.

1. How to Request Cancellation or a Refund

Submit a written request through the BookFellaz contact form and include your name, project or invoice reference, service purchased, and reason for the request. BookFellaz may ask for additional information reasonably necessary to review the request.

2. Before Work Begins

If BookFellaz receives a cancellation request before substantive project work has begun, amounts paid for BookFellaz services may be eligible for a refund, less any non-recoverable third-party charges, payment-processing costs that cannot lawfully or practically be recovered, or other amounts expressly identified as non-refundable before purchase.

3. After Work Begins

Once substantive work has begun, the Client is responsible for the value of work already performed and reasonable resources committed to the project. Any refund, if applicable, will be limited to the unearned portion of amounts paid after deducting completed work, approved milestones, committed production time, and non-recoverable third-party costs.

4. Design, Website, Video, SEO, and Content Work

Customized creative and production work becomes increasingly non-refundable as work progresses because the work is produced specifically for the Client. Drafts, concepts, research, design direction, code, development, editing, video production, SEO work, written content, and revision work performed before cancellation may be treated as earned work even if the Client later chooses not to use the resulting deliverable.

5. Approved or Delivered Work

Payments attributable to final approved deliverables, completed milestones, or services already delivered are non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law. This does not limit any non-waivable legal rights a Client may have if a paid service was not delivered as agreed.

6. Deposits and Milestones

Where a proposal or invoice requires a deposit or milestone payment, the applicable document may state whether that payment is refundable and when it becomes earned. If no project-specific rule is stated, this Policy will apply based on the stage of work completed.

7. Recurring and Monthly Services

Recurring services may be cancelled according to the billing and cancellation terms disclosed for that service. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically create a prorated refund for a billing period in which BookFellaz has already begun the agreed monthly work.

8. Third-Party Costs

Third-party expenses already incurred or committed for the Client, such as domain registrations, hosting, premium plugins, licensed stock assets, advertising spend, paid tools, platform fees, or other external charges, are generally non-refundable once charged or committed unless the third-party provider issues a refund.

9. No Physical Returns

BookFellaz ordinarily provides digital services and digital deliverables. Physical returns, return shipping, and merchandise return procedures do not apply unless BookFellaz expressly sells a physical product in a separate transaction.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact BookFellaz first so the issue can be reviewed. Filing a payment dispute does not cancel contractual obligations for work properly performed or amounts otherwise due. BookFellaz may provide project records, approvals, communications, delivery evidence, and applicable policies to a payment provider when responding to a dispute.

11. Mandatory Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer-protection or other mandatory law.
